With a very big pleasure I would like to inform, that the
Witold Lutosławski Conservatory Cracow
takes part in the international project PIANO: REFLECTION THE EUROPEAN CULTURE
supported by European Commission, as a author project of his artistic director Adam Wibrowski
(active in the Europe and USA), in which eighteen young, talented pianists from Austria, France,
Macedonia, Moldavia and Poland in the years 2010-2011 are taking part in the 5th sessions in this
countries. They are learning the culture of this countries and his folklore, be able to use in
their musical interpretations. The first session started in Poland - April 2010 - and will
continue September 2011 - the pianist will visit Warsaw, Zakopane, Bukowina and Krakow, acquainted
with folklore of Mazowsze (Chopin) and Podhale (Szymanowski) participated in the master classes
under (among) prof. Andrzej Jasiński. There were two concerts already on the April 17th & 18th in
the Austrian General Consulate and French General Consulate (Krakow).
